About

Hello, I'm
Dorota

I am a makeup artist and hair stylist based in London, working across bridal, fashion, television and film. Twelve years behind the brush, five behind the tongs, a degree in cosmetology and full UK licensing — and a private studio in Hanwell where every bridal look begins.

I came to this work through faces rather than through fashion. What holds my attention is not a trend but the moment someone sees themselves in the mirror and quietly relaxes — because the person looking back is unmistakably them. That is the whole job.

Over the years that has taken me from wedding mornings in Kensington to editorial sets, magazine shoots, broadcast studios and film productions, including artistic and special effects work when a brief asks for something stranger. Every one of those rooms taught me the same lesson: preparation is the luxury. Skin prepped properly. A timeline that breathes. A kit that never runs out of your shade.

My values

Experience, style, hygiene, products, technique, approach

01

Experience

Twelve years of faces

Twelve years as a makeup artist and 5 as a hair stylist, with a cosmetology degree behind the technique and full UK licensing behind the business. Brides, private clients, models, magazines, television and film.

02

Style

Yours, not mine

I read your features, your dress, your venue light and the way you already like to see yourself — then I sharpen it. Continuous training keeps the technique current rather than nostalgic.

03

Hygiene

Clinically clean

Disposable applicators, decanted product, sanitised palettes and brushes washed and dried between every single client. Barrier-safe practice for sensitive skin, and no double-dipping. Ever.

04

Products

Professional grade only

A kit built for flash, film light and eleven hours of wear, with shade ranges deep enough for every skin.

05

Technique

Built in layers

Skin first: prepped, balanced, corrected only where it needs it. Colour with intention. Structure through cream and powder in sequence so the finish flexes with your face instead of sitting on top of it.

06

Discretion

Calm, quiet, unhurried

Private clients, public faces and press-shy families are looked after with the same quiet. A relaxed chair, an honest opinion when you ask for one, and a timeline that gives your morning air.

The studio

Private London studio

Bridal trials are held at my private studio — a calm, unhurried room with honest daylight, a full professional kit and no queue behind you. It is where we decide what your day looks like, and where more than one trial is welcome if we are exploring more than one direction.

Trial appointments are also available for wedding guests, mothers of the bride and anyone who would simply like a professional pair of hands before an occasion.
